As many of you know, and if you don't now that you have read this you will. On October 7th, 2008 Activision/Vivendi announced they would be terminating online play for 22 of their games Tribes 2 was one of the ones in the list. Now with that said don't worry Thyth over at http://www.the-construct.net is working on a replacement for the Master server which will be available for download from http://www.tribesnext.com. We need to make all of the Tribes 2 players aware that this is not the end of Tribes, but a new chapter, with this replacement it will allow the players that had either lost their cd keys, their games, and their accounts to come back along with the ability to get new blood in on this awesome game. |
