Ryan, Van Hollen Duel On Medicare Spending In Proposed GOP Budget

Surrounded by party members, House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan released the GOP’s 2012聽budget proposal Tuesday, which would dramatically change the Medicare and Medicaid programs in the future, to slow the growth of health care costs. Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md.,聽responded, claiming that the GOP doesn’t reform Medicare,聽“They deform it.”
