Baucus Bill: A New Round Of Preliminary Estimates, Scoring Implications
The Senate Finance Committee today released their own early聽estimates of the financial implications of Chairman Max Baucus’ revised health proposal.聽He聽introduced the revisions to聽“America’s Health Future Act,”聽on Sept. 22.聽
The committee’s press release says: “These preliminary estimates were calculated by the Majority staff of the Senate Finance Committee based on oral and written estimates provided by the Congressional Budget Office and the Joint Committee on Taxation. They do not represent an official score and do not include interaction effects. Estimates represent the period of FY2010 – FY2019 under the budget resolution.”
